Echomap Ultra/Ultra2 126sv: Not Compatible.
Echomap Ultra2 166sv: Video Compatible. Touch Not Available.
The minimum requirement for a compatible head unit is an "HDMI Out" port, without that, we are unable to make a connection to the Garmin unit. To enable the remote touch screen capability, the unit must also have a USB connection.
Will Livescope connect directly to a Get Fish Marine Display?
No. LiveScope does not connect directly to any aftermarket remote display.
All aftermarket displays—including Get Fish Marine—require a compatible Garmin, Lowrance, or Humminbird head unit to process sonar data and communicate with the forward-facing sonar module. The Get Fish Marine display mirrors the video output from that primary head unit.
A basic installation diagram showing the required connections is included on our "Will my screen work" page, available from the home page.
My Get Fish Marine touch screen isn't working, what should I do?
This happens and usually it is one of two things. First, check the button on the side, it is labeled "Touch On/Off". If that does not work, be sure to check that -both- USB connections are seated well and the threaded nuts are fairly snug. The micro-USB on the head units does not have much wiggle-room, it must be fully seated.
I ordered a Get Fish Marine display for a 16:9 head unit, but I have a 16:10 unit (8610 / 1243). What should I expect?
When you place an order for a Get Fish Marine display, you are prompted to select both your head unit model and the USB connection type. This step is critical, as each display is optimized specifically for either a 16:9 or 16:10 head unit.
The display you receive will be formatted to match the selected aspect ratio. If a 16:9-formatted display is used with a 16:10 head unit, you will experience pillar boxing (black bars on the sides of the image). This mismatch can also cause a touch-position offset near the edges of the screen, which may make precise touch inputs frustrating.
If you:
A) accidentally ordered the incorrect aspect ratio, or
B) later upgraded to a different head unit and need your display reformatted
please contact us using the website contact form. We offer a reformatting service for $100, which includes return shipping and insurance.
What is the difference between a Mark I and Mark II unit?
Mark I units were sold through December 2025.
Mark II units were sold starting January 2026.
The Mark I units are easily identify-able by the on-screen buttons at the bottom of the screen. They also come with steel display mounts with a single pivot point.
The Mark II units are identified by -not- having on-screen buttons, rather they have been relocated to the side of the display. This reduces the glass size and weight of the display. The Mark II display mounts are aluminum and offer dual pivot points. The Mark II offers a "slim" look and a significant weight reduction.
The Mark I and Mark II display mounts are interchangeable. The display hardware and internal components offer the same performance between the generations of display.
